CDR DICOM System Requirements

PLEASE NOTE: This table is intended to assist you with the transition to CDR DICOM for Windows software. Your patient volume, and the specific demands of your practice, may require you to adjust these guidelines accordingly. CDR is a registered trademark of Schick Technologies. ITEM MINIMUM RECOMMENDED NOTES
STANDALONE WORKSTATION OR NETWORK CLIENT Windows XP Professional or Windows Vista Home Premium (See Notes) Windows XP Professional or Windows Vista Home Premium or Vista Business or Vista Ultimate (See Notes)

Schick standard sensors, wireless sensors, and panoramic retrofit kits are supported on XP Professional and Vista.

Please note that Microsoft has retired public and technical support, including security updates, for Windows 98 SE. Our product line of high-speed USB Remotes, including CDR Elite, is not supported on this Windows platform.

CDR DICOM 4.5 is required on Vista. CDR HS Remotes can be used with Windows Vista, XP, and XP 64-bit systems. For Vista 64-bit systems, we recommend only CDR DICOM 4.5 client installations (not single-user or server) with CDR HS Remotes.

VIDEO DEVICES Winnov Videum 1000 VO Plus (PCI) Belkin Hi-Speed USB DVD Creator, or ATI All-In-Wonder PCIE Capture Cards, or Nvidia Personal Cinema AGP Cards Commercial video card manufacturers update their products frequently, making cards recommended for older Schick cameras difficult to find at retail. If you cannot locate a recommended video card, contact technical support for the latest information. USBCam and USBCam2 do not require a capture card.
