  1. Is focusing required with the USBCam?
    The USBCam has a focal depth that allows you to capture a full smile down to a single tooth with no focusing needed. This makes it exceptionally easy to use.

  2. Is the USBCam capable of full face images?
    Because USBCam is designed for use inside the mouth, it does not excel at full face images. It can capture full face images satisfactory for identification purposes.

  3. What is required to use the USBCam?
    A computer with a standard USB port (USB 2 not required) and a standard "A to B" USB cable.

  4. Is the USBCam compatible with my practice management software?
    USBCam is compatible with many software programs. Check with your Patterson Technology Rep. to see if yours is on the list.

  5. Can the USBCam be configured for use with a footpedal?
    Yes. A footpedal is available and easy to install.

  6. Should I install CDR Video Manager?
    Only customers with CDR 2.6 should install CDR Video Manager. Customers using CDR DICOM, EagleSoft, Patterson Imaging or other compatible imaging program can dismiss the message to install CDR Video Manager if prompted during installation. To expedite USBCam setup, we also recommend that you have the USBCam driver CD in your CD/DVD drive when installing this product.
