- Will CDR Wireless work with my existing Schick CDR system?
Yes. CDR Wireless can be configured to work seamlessly with your standard Schick CDR sensor system. That makes it the perfect addition to enhance the capabilities of an existing installation.
- What are the limitations of CDR Wireless?
CDR Wireless is an RF (radio frequency) device. While it is immune to most interference, particularly "noisy" environments (areas with very unusual amounts of radio noise) may not be compatible with this product. Virtually all noise issues can be overcome with the use of Schick SDX generators. To determine if your office is compatible, simply ask your Patterson Technology Rep to conduct an onsite survey. It is easy, informative and only takes a few minutes.
- Are the batteries rechargeable?
No. CDR Wireless batteries will last an average of 500 images under normal use, and are not rechargeable.
- What is the purpose of the "Sensor docking port" on the receiver interface module?
This port allows you to diagnose and reconfigure your Wireless sensor. It is not intended as a storage area, and should not be used as such.
- What types of positioning devices are recommended for use with my CDR Wireless sensor?
Only Schick universal sensor holders are recommended for use with the CDR Wireless sensor.
