Because the resources we use are local, we are available to meet unforeseen challenges and ensure a smooth installation. Patterson and Schick will work with you during the entire installation process and stay involved in your investment assuring your complete satisfaction.
Local On-Site Service: Patterson's technical resources are local to the area and therefore should you need service, they can provide that service quickly and effectively. If problems arise that require a visit to your facility, we can do so without requiring lengthy days of waiting. Issues will be resolved quickly and to your satisfaction.
Two-Year Warranty: All Schick hardware includes a two 2-year warranty. Schick is able to offer this outstanding warranty because our service history has demonstrated that our products are very reliable and we pass on this value to our customers.
Next Day Parts Replacement: All Schick parts will be replaced the following business day should it be determined that a replacement is needed. As long as Patterson receives the call by 3:00 pm Eastern Standard Time, the replacement part will arrive the next morning via overnight delivery.
100% Satisfaction Guarantee: Patterson guarantees your satisfaction with this investment. Should you not experience a fully satisfactory installation, service, and/or use of the products purchased, you will be entitled to a refund of your investment. It is not the policy of Schick or Patterson to sell you a product and not allow you to return it should you not find the purchase satisfactory.
Patterson Service Club: You will be entered into the Patterson Service Club at the time of your initial installation. There are no costs for the first two years of your investment. Beginning in your third year, you will pay a flat rate of $995 per office location for your Service Club participation. The Service Club provides: 1) free software updates, 2) unlimited 800-phone support, and 3) access to the replacement plan service. The replacement plan allows you to obtain a sensor replacement for any defective/damaged sensor for a flat fee of $2,300 for a Size 2 Sensor and $2,100 for a Size 1 Sensor. The new sensor is sent next day and does not require a return/inspection of your down sensor prior to issuing, which expedites your replacement. The replacement plan program is comprehensive, competitive and will provide a tremendous value proposition. More importantly, this program offers a secure future with no risk of losing the ability to have product replaced for a cost-effective fee. We are confident our 5-year cost of ownership, as compared to other digital options, is significant and allows us to provide you a better operating cost structure.
Multiple Sensors: More than 95% of your images will be taken with our Size 2 sensor (equivalent to standard film size). In the case where you need a smaller size for children and some adults with shallow pallets, we offer 3 sizes of wired and 2 sizes of wireless sensors to obtain those radiographs. We believe this multiple sensor approach is superior to a "one size fits all" method. If it weren't, film would only come in one size!

The CDR Preview Software is a "view only" copy of the CDR Software (without the ability to acquire X-rays) that can be used to receive e-mails and attachments, making it easy for your referring dentists to receive and view images from you. Schick, as the market leader, is the most popular system in use today in dentistry. So, general dentists will use Schick more than any other digital system giving you more opportunity to share information and keep communications simpler.
Custom Endo Reports: We can provide you with sample endo report templates customized to reflect the quality and image of your practice. We can and will help you create customized reports so that you can address the various case types that you need to document. We believe our reports are the best in class and are a positive reflection of your organization.
Technology: Our technology is CMOS. CDDs have been used in imaging for many years, but today, CMOS is the new standard and it's because of CMOS that we are also the world's first company to introduce wireless technology. We also have a USB (Universal Serial Bus)-based system making our integration with your computers a standard integration. Because we don't need to attach our sensor directly to your computer and can use the remote module, we can install the equipment with maximum ergonomics. Our solution does not require the use of foreign devices to communicate to our sensors. Your computers will require no alterations or modifications to support our technology, making the implementation and support simpler and more stable.
